The Dutch bank ING asked Level V to develop a video series that aligns with the ING purpose: 'Empowering people to stay a step ahead in life and business'. The result was a series of client stories, in which ordinary people tell their inspiring and empowering stories of the decisions they made in personal life and/or in their business life.
I edited five of these mini-documentaries, which I found very refreshing. This production allowed for more focus on storytelling of these personal stories, without having a very clear stamp of the client on the videos.
This video tells the story of two entrepreneurs in Amsterdam who turned their sneaker shop in to the Patta lifestyle brand.

'The Girl Effect' tells the story of Lauren, who went to Kenia for volunteer work after her mother died unexpectedly. She met a girl there, who wanted to become a doctor, which inspired Lauren to throw her life around and create a business that helps these girls.

'The Bakers Daughter' is about a father and daughter in Paris, who made their dream of having a small bakery come true after the father lost his job.
'The Telecom Binman'  tells the story of Joost, who made a business from recycling used phones and their waste in Africa.
'Free as an Albatross' is about Thomas Geers, who started his company Albatross Liquors at only 20 years-old. He tells us why he chose 'the school of life'.
