This coming-of-age film tells the story of Sam and her grandpa, who inspires her to follow her dreams.
This short film was created as an entry for the 2017 Cinespace film competition. A world-wide film competition supported by NASA. The requirements to participate in the competition were that the short film would not exceed a duration of ten minutes and that at least 10% of the footage used in the film would consist out of footage or images downloaded from the NASA video archives.
As a huge fan of space, stars and planets, I got very excited when I heard NASA supported a film competition. Together with a producer I had worked with in the past, I gathered a team and put this project together.
