This coming-of-age film tells the story of Sam and her grandpa, who inspires her to follow her dreams.
This short film was created as an entry for the Cinespace Film competition. A world-wide film competition supported by NASA. The requirements to participate in the competition were that the short film would not exceed a duration of ten minutes and that at least 10% of the footage used in the film would consist out of footage or images downloaded from the NASA video archives.
As a huge fan of space, stars and planets, I got very excited when I heard NASA supported a film competition. Together with a producer I had worked with in the past, I gathered a team and put this project together.
